Job Purpose
Part of Service Excellence team supports standardization of processes across AkzoNobel Business Process Modeler/Mapper will be responsible for modelling processes within Signavio environment. The primary goal of BPM is to map business processes from scratch and should be able to map process maintaining the company standards and to perform quality checks during the process. BPM should be able to coordinate with GPDL’s/global process champions/leads across the globe to deliver and document the end to end process for AkzoNobel.
Key Accountabilities
Supports different levels of process modeling:
• Process Maps: Simple Flow charts of the activities. • Process Descriptions: Flow charts extended with additional information, but not enough to fully define actual performance. • Process Models: Flow charts extended with enough information so that the process can be analyzed, simulated, and/or executed. • Perform Quality Checks • Maintain AkzoNobel mapping standard • Using various techniques (Ex Observations, interviews, available documentation, review meetings, audit findings, presentations, spreadsheets etc) to document the As-Is Process and creating an end to end Process Blueprint • As-Is process would include L0, L1, L2 .. up to work instructions/SOP including screenshots of the systems used, cadence, KPI’s, people, RACI, SOD, business/ IT controls
Experience
4 to 6 years of Business Process Management experience, such as mapping, modeling, and reviewing processes, including BPMN 2 proficiency • Knowledge of using tools such as Visio, Adonis, Aris, Signavio or similar BPMN tool experience highly desirable • Good understanding of international corporate organizations, systems, and processes • Experience in continuous improvement methodologies • Basic understanding of project and change management
Education
