Job Details/ Criteria
Basic Functions/ Job Responsibility:
As an event architect you will take ownership of conceptulising, strategizing and executing few of NASSCOM’s national level conferences. Each of these conferences set the tone of Indian IT Industry and serve as a storytelling platform for various initiatives evangalised by NASSCOM. Large part of this role entails generating rich and topical content, building and nurturing relationships with senior level executives and cross functional collaboration. Below is a break-up of the scope of work for this position:
Rich content curation
Theme formulation
Writing a Concept note
Agenda building – constantly experimenting with new formats
Effective interaction with industry leaders to make sure content is rich and relevant
Speaker Outreach
Research on interesting global and Indian thought leaders
Invite and manage the speakers through the event
Have a good mix of global and Indian thought leaders (Ideal mix 30:70)
Timely communication to speakers on their engagement
Marketing
Work on conceptualising, designing and curation of content for the website. Keep the website updated.
Design the content for mailers, maintain a tracker and timely shooting the mailers to our DBs
Work with the Digital partners for social engagement
Ensure the paid delegate target is met
Draw up a Post event analytics report
Focus on market research and incorporate customer feedback into overall positioning strategy
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications, Experience:
Experience in organizing B2B industry events.
Extremely strong writing and content skills.
Ability to leverage technology for effective communication to all stakeholders.
Very strong communication skills, critical thinking and analytical ability.
Interpersonal skills and team work.
Knowledge and ability to leverage Social Media through effective use of Blogs, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and other social networks and forums.
Experience or Knowledge of the IT industry.
