What you’ll be doing…

Are you energized by discovering the best new learning approaches and applying them to create engaging learning programs? Do you regularly seek feedback from your customers and understand the importance of continuous improvement. Do you gain satisfaction from managing projects to meet key learning objectives and then seeing the impact of strong learning programs on the performance of the business? You will be a member of a team of learning professionals who focus on determining and satisfying a wide variety of employees’ learning needs. The L&D manager serves as the primary Learning and Development point of contact for their assigned business unit(s). This role is responsible for strategic and tactical oversight, learning strategy, business impact studies and budget management (as applicable). This includes providing regular training updates, understanding business goals and priorities, and identifying training as well as non-training solutions for business challenges.

Managing active needs assessments, problem solving, decision making and demonstrate communications skills needed to advance the L&D Manager efforts in applying innovative learning approaches.
Working with peer L&D manager, HR Business Partners (HRBP), leaders and stakeholders to determine learning needs, understand business impact, define the measureable outcomes, and collaborate to help determine prioritization.
Working with L&D design and development studios create a viable learning strategy, assess work effort, summarize business case, and determine funding avenues.
Facilitating the support of learning program execution.
Managing projects to create effective learning solutions on time and on budget.
Providing regular updates to senior leadership on progress and results achieved.
Using data for effective storytelling.
Partnering with leaders on projects that address performance and business goals and needs of the organization.
Ensuring ongoing communication on progress and outcomes with stakeholders and clients.
Evaluating program effectiveness and continuously improving our solutions.
Engaging with business stakeholders and clients to identify learning needs and strategy.
Prioritizing across client organizations on critical needs.
Defining measurable learning outcomes with stakeholders and clients.
Ensuring business unit by-in and access to SMEs.

This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.

You’re focused on assessing the business impact of learning solutions and continuously evaluating ways to improve the knowledge and skills of our employees.
You’ll need to have:

Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

A degree.
Consulted with HR professionals and their business clients.
Prior Professional Services experience.
Project Management skills.
The ability to organize and monitor work done by others in support of a specific project or assignment.
Knowledge of how businesses functions achieve success, both in general and for the specific organization(s) that are supported.
Sound technical aptitude.
Strong business acumen.
Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
Proven capabilities in strategic thinking.
Knowledge of adult learning principles and training approaches.
Managed projects effectively balancing timeliness and quality in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation

For part-timers, your coverage will vary as you may be eligible for some of these benefits depending on your individual circumstances.
If you are hired into a Colorado work location, the compensation range for this position is between $93,000 and $173,000 based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
