description : This position will be based in Pune and will be in Global Supply Chain Center of Excellence of Supply chain management function(SCM Services).
The principle role of the this position is to support Vehicle Business in the raw material planning activities from APAC Suppliers. This includes understanding Demand analysis, material availability, international logistics, negotiations with suppliers and the ongoing management of supplier relationships. This is a single site role with assignment to remote plant location.
The objective of Global Supply Chain Center of Excellence is to be a strategic partner to Eaton Supply Chain enabling process excellence and resource optimization. Global Supply Chain Center of Excellence is an initiative to improve Supply Chain effectiveness and provide maximum value to business. SCM Services provides support to all Eaton businesses- Aerospace, Corporate, Electrical and Vehicle group

Global Supply Chain Center of Excellence is an Initiative that provides functional and value added support across each vertical of the Supply Chain Functions for the Eaton sites across the globe , key areas of focus are standardization, consolidation, automation support and leveraging best in class available tools / techniques / processes
Monitoring suppliers for capacity issues & long term planning based on forecasts
Materials Planning considerations within for Make/Buy & Make commodity planning
Manage allocations process for consigned warehouse suppliers.
Maintaining Metrics and Materials Scorecards on a monthly basis.
Running and reviewing warehouse runout shortage reports
Setting up expedited freight
Training and setting up suppliers in a vendor-managed inventory system
Conducting weekly meeting with all India/Asia based suppliers to review supply & Demand changes
Assisting with constrained part response actions directly with the suppliers and plan material
Planning daily/weekly material from vendor menaged warehouse to different plants
Controlling Inventory at site level and vendor managed warehouse level
Ramp up/dowm planning for re-soursing parts
Qualifications
Graduate + MBA/Engineer
5 to 8 years
Exposure in global working, managing projects across continents.Good understanding of Materials functionsNeed to have good hands on exposure of Material/Supplier management in an MNC/ Global services.Should be exposed to latest technology and tools for Big data analytics and deriving decisions out of it.Good Collaborative style, managing various stakeholders at different levels.Exposure to managing large teamGood business acumen
Material Planning (MRP),Capacity planning,Replinishment planning,ERP- Oracle, Qlik View,Power BI,Supplier Vis, Advance Excel.(Knowledge of Oracle will be prefered)
Good communication skills and ability to support remotely
