Introduction:
The PMO Analyst is responsible for owning one or more Project/Program governance processes as part of BUK Shared Service Team PMO in India and ensuring that all BUK change programs adhere to governance standards; along with reporting the compliance of these programs with all relevant processes.
Work closely with AE, PM & PMO teams to ensure governance for BUK change programs with respect to Project Initiation, Business case, RAIDs, Status, Finances, Project lifecycle and Project Program forum for all BUK change programs
Owns one or more process across all BUK change programs for governance & compliance reporting
Conduct pre-audit checks and support audits for BUK change programs
Manage governance process trainings for BUK colleagues
Provides active support to the Portfolio and Delivery PMO as required
Drive automation and continuous process improvement across all areas of responsibility
What will you be doing?
Process Management 100%.
For all BUK Change programs – supports consolidation, generation & distribution of governance reporting & KPIs to required audiences and forums
Generate forward looking governance dashboards
Reviews and ensures adherence to Barclays UK PMO framework and other standards
Quality assurance for program forum packs
Provides active support to the Portfolio and programme managers as required
Facilitate communication and reporting requirements, standards, framework and relevant governance forums
Proactively assure the portfolio, ensuring all change initiatives deliver in line with agreed standards.
What we’re looking for:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience in project lifecycle and business case; in-depth experience in portfolio analysis
Knowledge/expertise in programme governance standards and assurance
Knowledge/expertise in managing finance cost centres/project budgets
Highly competent in MS office suite and be an MS Excel Expert (pivot tables, macros, data set manipulation).
Excellent organization skills, structured and be able to prioritise workload
Skills that will help you in the role:
Experience in portfolio, programme and/or project financial forecast analysis and reporting
Strong team player, well-disciplined and have proven ability to network and influence others with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders
