ServiceDesk Technician
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, working with the customer to understand their problem or issue, perform troubleshooting using remote management tools, and provide a final solution or workaround in a timely and responsive manner. Ensure that the customer’s expectations are met and communicate resolution via the ITSM tool.
In this role you will…
Provide first and second-level support, which includes incident and request handling for customers, focusing on first-call resolution. Use best practices for incident management, including detailed ticket documentation, trouble-shooting, and analytical skills to identify the root cause, and quickly determine resolution.
Assist in system upgrades and maintenance including adding or removing the memory, hard drives, video cards, and power supplies.
Assist in configuring and supporting various mobile devices and tablets.
Knowledge of Office 365, OKTA.
Understanding of MS Windows and Mac Operating Systems
Excellent documentation, technical and interpersonal skills
Ability to recommend technology solutions
Working within an ITIL framework including ticket triage and assigning ticket severity, impact, and customer-specific ticket details.
Staff the Genius Bar daily for appointments and walk-ups
Ensure that customer needs are being met through timely follow-through
Inventory Management
Equipment Receiving
Consideration of privacy and security obligation
You have what it takes if you have… 5+ years of experience working on a Service Desk 2 years of experience troubleshooting Office 365 Productivity Suite Associate degree, technical certificate, or equivalent work experience Strong understanding of ITIL Foundations and prior administration experience of ServiceNow or Other ITSM tool Understanding of MS Windows and Mac Operating Systems Excellent technical documentation skills are a must Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills Must be a quick learner with exceptional communication skills Perform inventory management for all hardware & software In-depth working knowledge with a broad range of Help Desk, Call Center, or customer service experience. Strong demonstrated analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
