Role Description
Role & Responsibility
As a Sr. Software Engineer (QA) – Application Delivery & Networking domain, we look towards you as a key resource with very good understanding of Network Solution Architectures, Application Security, Traffic Monitoring & SSL inspection.
As part of Application Delivery & Network Security team, You will be responsible for ensuring high quality of deliverables you work on.
Primary Skills
Good understanding and experience of various Test Frameworks & architectures.
Experience in testing Cloud & Application security with SSL Inspection.
Understanding of cipher and protocol: SSL 3.0, TLS 1.0/1.1/1.2, RSA/DHE/ECDHE ciphers with Perfect Forward Secrecy (PFS) support – SHA, SHA-2, MD5 Message Authentication Code (MAC) algorithms, IPv4 and IPv6, HTTP 1.1, HTTP/2
Knowledge of Application Security Testing using Web Application Firewall (WAF), DNS Application Firewall (DAF), Integrated DDoS protection for application services
Experience in software test execution, documentation
Exposure of Stress, Performance, System testing, Manual testing and Automation testing.
Good familiarity with Linux (like) operating system.
Secondary skills
Good to have programming experience in Python
Good to have experience with test instruments Spirent Avalanche (Spirent Test Center – STC)
Knowledge of working with hypervisor; for example, VMware, ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V, and KVM.
Understanding of Network Security feature is a plus.
Understanding of Ansible to manage cloud VMs is a plus.
Exposure to Enterprise Networks Security, Network Appliances like Application Delivery Controllers (Load Balancers), Firewall solutions, Threat Protection Systems, CGN/LSN is a bonus.
Educational/professional qualification required
Bachelor in Computer Science or equivalent. Preferably Master degree in computer science.
